Earlier this year I attended the National Press Foundation's An Introduction to Washington for College Journalists. There we visited several public institutions but my favorite by far was the Government Accountability Office or GAO.If I had to work for the federal government, I would want to work at the GAO. These people bought and simultaneously smuggled radioactive materials across the Mexican and Canadian borders to exposed flaws in Homeland Security. They broke the law in order to test the law -- that's awesome!!
